Pick Me up
Ingredients :
Cooking notes:
- 1/2 pineapple
- 3 beetroot
- 1 bunch coriander (10-20g)
- 2 limes
- 1 pomegranate
Method
- Chop pineapple, beetroot and coriander (including roots and stems) into pieces to fit through the chute of your juicer. Use a small knife or vegetable peeler to peel limes. Halve limes.
- Add pineapple, beetroot, coriander and lime to a juicer to extract juice.
- Roll pomegranate on a bench to release the seeds. Cut in half horizontally. Hold the cut half over a bowl and tap the seeds out.
- Divide pomegranate seeds among glasses, add juice and serve with ice if desired.
- If you refrigerate your ingredients, they will be cold and you can skip the ice.
- If you have cooked beetroots, you can make this juice in a blender instead of a juicer. Chop ingredients into smaller pieces then blend on high until all ingredients are processed.
- Another way to release the pomegranate seeds is to break the fruit apart (once cut in half) in a bowl of water. Remove white flesh and drain.

Green Machine
Ingredients :
Cooking notes:
- 1 lemon
- 2 green apple
- 2 pears
- 4 celery sticks
- 2 Lebanese cucumber
- 20g ginger
- 1/2 bunch kale (approximately 6 stalks)
- 60g baby spinach
Method
- Peel the lemon using a small knife or vegetable peeler. Roughly chop the apple, pear, kale, celery, and cucumber.
- Add lemon, ginger, apple, pear, celery, and cucumber to a juicer to extract juice.
- Transfer juice to a blender along with kale (snap off the firm stalk at the end and discard) and spinach. Blend on high until all ingredients are processed.
- Divide among glasses to serve.
- We suggest processing the kale and spinach in a blender as a juicer will not extract much juice from these ingredients.
- Instead of using a juicer and a blender, you can add all ingredients to a blender to process.

- 2 limes
- 400ml coconut milk
- 400ml coconut water
- 1 tsp salt
- Optional garnish: 1 tsp dried chilli flakes and 2 tsp salt

- Divide pineapple drink evenly among glasses.
- Turn this into a slushie by freezing pineapple pieces for at least 3 hours.
- If you're feeling fancy, or serving this drink to friends, reserve the lime peel and use strips to garnish the drinks.
