I love the blue spot emperor fish provided. However, I felt the recipe doesn’t do justice to how Tom Kha Pla truly taste like. One of the key ingredient was missing - Galangal. This was replaced with ginger which I felt shows little understanding of what TOm Kha should taste like.
I would recommend this recipe for those unfamiliar with Thai food or isn’t fussy with their food.

I LOVED this one. Just too delicious. Amazing how much flavour you can get out of a handful of ingredients. I accidentally overcooked the fish, so a warning to people to take their fish out sooner rather than later (as it keeps cooking in the hot stock once removed from heat.) 5 stars.
