I found a whole packet of saffron was too overpowering, a pinch would of been better. The rice also took much longer to cook and required more water.

We didn't like this at all I'm afraid, and ended up throwing much of it out. I think it was too much saffron - the mushy vegetables tasted pretty horrible.
