"What we do with our pigs just doesn’t exist anymore". Dave, owner of The Farm House Margaret River, is extremely knowledgeable and passionate when it comes to the ethical production of pork.

Chris and My have gone above and beyond to ensure that the suppliers we work with are doing what they actually claim to do. They take the time to literally feel the land beneath their feet, physically see the produce and the living conditions while also getting to know the suppliers and understand their processes on a deeper level. We can wholeheartedly say that farmers like Dave are in the industry for the right reasons. These are the people who are doing the right thing for the planet and that is who we want involved with Dinner Twist - for the long run. That’s because our planet does not have a shelf life, we are in it for the long run. We need to care about the future generations for years to come.

As you can see from these gorgeous images {taken by My, during their visit to The Farm House last year} that the pigs really do live a happy and fruitful life. All pigs are fed a daily supplement of grain and legumes. They have space to roam and wander amongst a natural environment made up of creek-lines, pasture and woodland, providing them with the best living conditions possible. We understand that this subject is sensitive, but we do not want to be the ones to tip toe around. 2021 is the year of transparency and honesty for Dinner Twist, which is why we are bringing this topic to the forefront. Our suppliers are our family. We choose carefully and wisely to ensure that the product that ends up on your table is of the best quality and ethical standards possible. The Farm House Margaret River are a shining example of this - we are so grateful to be able to work with Dave and his family.
